MRS. MYRTLE LEFFLER

Mrs. Myrtle G. Leffler, 89, of Farmington, died Wednesday, August 28, at 7:12 p.m. in Sacred Heart hospital, Fort Madison.

She was born February 22, 1885, in Van Buren county, the daughter of Charlie and Nancy Westcott Krenmyre. She married George W. Leffler November 13, 1904, at Farmington. He died earlier.

She was a member of the United Methodist church, Farmington, Rebekah Lodge, United Methodist women and Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Gertrude) Starr, Farmington, Mrs. Jack (Velda) Rogers, Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Grace Starkey, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Matie Wolfe, Farmington, and Mrs. Hazel Root, Rockford, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Farmington United Methodist church, with the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial was in the Farmington cemetery.
