Anna Belle Wallingford

Anna Belle Wallingford, 88, of Farmington died at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 in the Hainline Rest Home in Bonaparte after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 18, 1885 at Martinsville, Ill., the daughter of Albert A. and Mary Wilson Hills. On Oct. 3, 1903, she married E.C. Ware at Keokuk. He died and she later married John Wallingford in 1947 in Van Buren County. They lived in Hillsboro and moved to Farmington in 1951.

She is survived by one son, Azen Lee Ware of Farmington. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two daughters and two sons.

The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Interment was in the McDaniel cemetery near Farmington. Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home at Farmington had charge of the service.
