Mrs. James Ferguson

OSKALOOSA - Mrs. Ethel L. Ferguson, 94, widow of James A. Ferguson, died Thursday night at Camair Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 6, 1878, at Douds, to John and Loretta McCullough Miller. She was a former manager of the general stores at Douds and Rose Hill. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Virgil Bass of Oskaloosa; four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Mark Sullivan. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery.
