MILO HAMMOND

Milo Eugene Hammond, 39, of Route 2, Jacksonville, Ark, a retired staff sergeant in the United States Air Force, died Monday, June 26. He was a member of the Bayou Meto Baptist church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nelma Jenkins Hammond; a son Steven Hammond; three daughters, Misses Sherryl Hammond, Susan Hammond and Sandra Hammond; two brothers, Marvin D. Hammond of Marshfield, Wisc. and Merle W. Hammond of Argyle, Ia.; and a sister, Mrs. Marian Story of Fairfield, Ia.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at the Bayou Meto Baptist church by the Rev. Bill Brown. Pallbearers were Albert Dodson, Louis Jeffers, Kenneth Abbott St., Harlod Walley, Bill Sims and David Jeffers. Burial was at Summer Cemetery by Jecksonville Funeral Home. The family requested that contributions be made to the Hammond Memorial Fund in care of the Bayou Meto Baptist church, in lieu of flowers.
