Stanley H. Doud

Stanley H. Doud, 64, died at his residence at 123 N. Green Wednesday at 4 a.m. He had been in failing health for six months.

He as born Oct. 8, 1907, in Douds, the son of Victor and Emma Clarkson Doud. He was a resident of Ottumwa for 30 years. he was a retired salesman for Lowenberg Bakery, retiring five years ago. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He married Gladys Crane March 5, 1928, in Libertyville. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Vivian Flack of Ottumwa and Vicki Campbell of Abilene, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Daniles(?) of Fairfield and Mae Sandford of Centerville; six grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

The service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Jay Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Goins of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Mariea(Moriah) Cemetery in Douds.
