Inez R. Lycan

Inez (Robinson) Lycan, daughter of Charles Clete Robinson and Katherine (Hornbaker) Robinson, former residents of the Bonaparte community was born March 18, 1922 at Ault, Colorado, and passed away on May 8, 1972 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Death was caused by complications following lengthy illness, surgery, and limb amputation. Interment was in Albuquerque, new Mexico.

After graduation from Ault, Colorado High School, she attended Colorado State Teachers College and the Denver Women's College, majoring in music then was a teacher for two years in New Mexico to return to Denver with State employment.

In 1940 she was married to Elmer B. Lycan, a former Greeley, Colorado resident. They resided in Cleveland, Ohio until after World War II when they returned to Colorado Springs to make their home where she continued to live after the death of her husband in 1968.

Inez is survived by her mother May, a resident of the Four Seasons Convalescence Home in Colorado Springs and one brother, Paul, of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles, one sister and two brothers.
