Daisy W. Atkins

MILTON - Daisy W. Atkins, 84, died at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua Monday, 10 a.m.

She was born Dec. 4, 1887, in Milton, daughter of Rufus and Alice Harbin Wilson. On Aug. 29, 1906 she married Harry L. Atkins, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Milton United Methodist Church and the Friendship Club, and was a graduate of Milton High School in 1906.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary A. Atkins at home and Mrs. Helen Lunsford of Milton' one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Milton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale Church officiating. Burial in Sunnyside Cemetery. The body is at the Wellborn Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established payable to the Milton United Methodist Church.
