Martha Ann Watson

Martha Ann (Mattie) Watson, 95 years 3 months and 10 days, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Saturday, December 11, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Willis Davis, where she made her home since she became an invalid 8 years ago.

Mrs. Watson was born August 31, 1877 near stockport(err), the daughter of Henry and Mary Bales Brown. On September 10, 1896, she was married to Elmer E. Watson at Wilsonville near Stockport. He died on April 4, 1943. One son Ray pass(e)d away in 1914 at age 16.

Mrs. Watson was a member of the Big Cedar Christian Church. She is survived by twins Cleo E. Watson of Stockport and Mrs. Willis (Ruby) Davis of Hillsboro, one sister Mrs. Todd (Ella) Morris of Fairfield, 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Pianist was Mrs. John Hoffer and Soloist was Mrs. Forrest Fuhrer.

Pall bearers were David Brambaugh, Otto Brown, Wayne Brown, Orville Davis, Gary Manley, and Albert Thornton.
