Jan Franklin McCabe

Jan Franklin McCabe, 29, rural Salem, died Sunday, Dec. 12, in a two-car collision one mile north of St. Paul.

Mr. McCabe was born Nov. 27, 1942, in Fairfield, the son of Kenneth and Margaret Spray McCabe. He married Linda Umthun on Nov. 28, 1964, in West Point. He was a farmer

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Kelly and Carol Ann, both at home; his parents, rural Salem; two brothers, Charles, Bockerton, Fla., and Mark, at home; two sisters, Susan and Diane, both at home; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Spray, Hillsboro; several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Hillsboro Christian church with Rev. Edmund Neubauer officiating. Burial was in the Hillsboro cemetery.
