Clarence Brewer

Clarence (Jack) Brewer, 77, Milton, died at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11 p.m.

He was born July 27, 1894, in Stronghurst, Ill., son of Albert and Clara Bowen Brewer. On Oct. 2 1955, he married Gertrude Long, who survives.

Also surviving are step-children, Manley Beggs of Sigourney, Stanley Beggs of Milton, William Stevens of Fort Madison, Mrs. Elleen Oge of Fort Madison, Mrs. Donna Blind of Wever and Mrs. Beverly Luton of Niota, Ill.; 14 stepgrandchildren; one sister, Adie Brooks of Santa Monica, Calif., and one brother, C.L. Brewer of Omaha, neb.

Services were Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Milton Christian Church with the Rev. James McKean and the Rev. Dale Church officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril.
