Rites for S. Green

KEOSAUQUA - Last rites for Susan Jane Green, 29, Adel, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Cornish and the Rev. Mervin Nelson in charge.

Mrs. Green, formerly of Keosauqua, died Sunday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery. Memorials to the Keosauqua United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society may be left at the Pedrick Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Green was born Feb. 7, 1949 in Fairfield, the daughter of John and Jane Babel Harbison. A graduate of Van Buren High School, she received her degree at Iowa State University and taught school at Slater for five years.

She was married Aug. 31, 1969 to Stanley J. Green. Surviving are her husband; a son, Andrew; her parents of Keosauqua; a sister, Ann Gilchrist, Park Forest, Ill.; and a brother, Dr. John W. Harbison, Richmond, Va.
