Mrs. Robert Kerr

Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Kerr, 39, of West Village, Aspen, Colo., died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, in St. Luke's Hospital, Denver, Colo., where she had been a patient since July 18. Death terminated a lingering illness.

The former Vigis Carolyn Cline, she was born in Scotland County, Mo., June 18, 1932, the daughter of Carl B. and Opal Kerr Cline. Her father preceded her in death in February 1959.

She was married to Robert L. Kerr on Sept. 27, 1959 at Lancaster, Mo. Mrs. Kerr was a resident of Scotland and Clark County, Mo. until 1961 when she, with her husband and son, moved to Colorado where they had since resided.

She was a member of the Granger, Mo. Methodist church. She was educated in Scotland county schools and also attended Kirksville State Teachers College and taught one term at the Clay Point school near Memphis. She worked as a receptionist in the Redstone and Snowmass, Colo. tourist area as long as health permitted.

Surviving are her devoted husband; a son, David Snyder, at home; her mother, Mrs. Opal Cline, Mt. Sterling, Iowa; two aunts, Mrs. Ray (Muriel) Parish of Arbela, Mo. and Mrs. F.D. (Buck) Buchanan of Ft. Madison, Ia.; one uncle, Frank Cline of Ft. Madison; a great-aunt, Mrs. Clem (Ida) Kerr of Cantril, Iowa; several cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 7, in the chapel of the Farnum Mortuary in Glenwood Springs, Colo., by the Rev. Richard A. Plants, pastor of the First United Methodist Church. Burial was in the cemetery at Marble, Colorado.
