Hubert A. Linn

Hubert A. Linn, 93, retired farmer, died about 12:35 a.m. Saturday, October 2, at his home at 402 E. Kirkwood.

Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ned C. Gillum officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

Linn had been a resident of Fairfield for 50 years. He was born July 22, 1878, at Cantril, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Linn.

Linn was married to Mary A. Clark Dec. 18, 1901. She died March 22, 1946. On Oct. 2, 1951 he was married to Mary Murphy, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Gerald Linn, Stockport; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Estes, Fairfield; three grandchildren, 16 great grand children and six great great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Florence Craig, Williamstown, Mo., also survives.

Linn was a member of the First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
