William T. Pollard

William T. Pollard, 71, of Farmington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 11:30 A.M. at 509 South Fourth St., Farmington. He was stricken with a heart attack.

The son of Thomas and Marguerite Ricker Pollard, he was born Jan. 3, 1900 at Charleston, Iowa. He spent most of his life in Farmington and was employed by the Iowa State Highway Commission.

He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are five nieces, Mrs. Jesse Anderson and Mrs. Carl Saar, both of Keokuk, Mrs. Isom Hufford of Fairfield, Mrs. Erich Thoensen of Davenport and Mrs. Harold Schwab of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

The funeral service will be held Thrusday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Farmington Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Eddie West will officiate. Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, is in charge of arrangements.
