Pro Yarnell

Birmingham - Pro Yarnell, 70, died Saturday afternoon Aug. 7 at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua where he had been a patient since noon.

He was born Aug. 10, 1900, the son of E.E. and Grace Teeter Yarnell. Surviving are one brother, Paul of Stockport, and two sisters, Mary Yarnell of Birmingham, and Mrs. Violet Irvine of Elmhurst, Ill.

One sister preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of Haney-Brannan Legion Post of Birmingham. A longtime employe of Louden Machinery Co. in Fairfield, he retired in 1962.

The service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Birmingham Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Millard Marshall. Burial with military rites was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
