Fred Brombaugh

Milton - Fred Brombaugh, 73, died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

Born Oct. 29, 1897, he was the son of Britt and Susan Caviness Brombaugh. He married Lillie O. Huff on Dec. 24, 1919. She died in 1966. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Aurora 50, and Carr Chapter 10, Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, Robert of Stockport, and Charles of Mount Pleasant; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, George of Gentry, Ark., and Glenn of Farmington, and two sisters, Mrs. Muriel Wallingford of Bonaparte, and Mrs. Grace Elmore of Farmington.

The service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Milton United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Dale Church. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
