Otis Cravens

Otis Cravens, 52, of Douds, died at 11 a.m. Friday in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.

The son of Willie and Cara Bell Cravens, he was born May 17, 1919 at Bernie, Mo. On Sept. 23, 1940 he married Dollie McRoy at Bloomfield, Mo.

He is survived by his widow; 2 daughters, Freda Eaves of Ottumwa and Frances Roberts of Douds; a son, Bobbie, and a niece, Connie Collins at home; a brother, James Cravens of Douds; three sisters Emma Warmath of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Jean Hutchison and Glenda Masker of St. Louis.

The body was taken to the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua and later flown to Bloomfield, Mo. where funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Chiles and Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
