STANLEY E. BEGGS

Former Milton resident Stanley E. Beggs, 78, of Bloomfield, died September 5, 1991, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

He was born December 24, 1912, in Pittsburg, Iowa, to Earl D. and Eva Beth Cochran Beggs. He married Ethel Harman on January 3, 1936, in Burlington.

He was a farmer and maintenance man for the city of Milton and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Milton.

He is survived by his wife.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Manley.

The service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 1991 at Grace United Methodist Church in Milton, the Rev. Kim Eanes officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Memorials may be made to his church.

Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
