BERYL BEELER

Bera Beryl Beeler, daughter of G. Judson and Eunice Robinson Wilson, was born December 1, 1895, south of Lebanon, and departed this life Saturday, January 23, 1982, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua at the age of 86. On February 7, 1918, she married Hazen Beeler, who died in 1964. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Daggs in 1970.

Remaining to cherish her memory are a son, Norman and his wife Beverly of rural Milton, a son-in-law, Robert Daggs of Cantril, two granddaughters, Norma Alexander, Moline, Ill. and Sonia Stookesberry, Wever, and a grandson, Randi Beeler, Ottumwa. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Sally, and Amy Alexander and Stefany Stookesberry, a brother, LaRue Wilson of Cantril and other relatives and many friends.

Beryl's entire life was spent in the Lebanon community, and she was active in community service until her last illness.

she was a lifetime member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and had served as church pianist for seventy years. She had shared her talent by teaching piano to countless young people, and was a member of Chapter AD, PEO at Milton and Cantril Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 26, 1982, at 11 A.M. in the Lebanon United Methodist Church, with Dr. Christ Daniel, pastor officiating. Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds. A memorial was established for her church.
