MARTHA A. AUGSPURGER

Martha A. Augspurger, age 67, of Bloomfield, Iowa, Route 2, passed away at 7:06 a.m. October 1, 1978 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

She was born April 13, 1911 in Davis County, the daughter of Perry and Earl Harl Holt. She was affiliated with the Pulaski United Methodist Church and Pulaski United Methodist Women.

She was united in marriage to Clarence Augspurger on July 15, 1931 in Edina, Mo. They have spent almost all of married life in the Pulaski vicinity.

Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Shirley Watson of Lakewood, Colo.; two sons, Ted Augspurger of Muscatine, Iowa and James Augspurger of Milton, Iowa; five grandchildren; one brother, Lyle Holt of Sigourney; and one sister, Thelma Prevo of Summerfield, Florida.

Martha was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother; and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at the Pulaski United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1978 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Harryman of Douds, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert Borton of Pualski. Interment was in the Pulaski Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Wagler Funeral Home at Bloomfield.
