MRS. WORTH ATKINS

Mrs. Worth (Ruth O.) Boegner Atkins, 72, of 1731 Ave. F, Ft. Madison, Iowa, died unexpectedly at 6:30 a.m. Feb. 9, at her home.

She was born at Nauvoo, Ill., Nov. 7, 1889. Herparents were Frederick and Ottilia Kerl Boegner. On April 14, 1923, at Peoria, Ill. she was married to Worth Atkins, who survives. The couple had lived in Chicago and Chillicothe, Ill. They were both Santa Fe employees. Mrs. Atkins retiring several years ago.

Mrs. Atkins was a member of the German Lutheran Church in Nauvoo, Ill.

Besides her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann of Chicago, one brother, Louis of Springfield, Mo., two sistrs, Mrs. Ann Kellogg of Hamilton, Ill. and Mrs. Minnie Pierson of Ft. Worth, Texas. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Ft. Madison. The Rev. George Moeller officiated. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in West Ft. Madison.
