Frata G. Eden

KEOSAUQUA - Frata G. Eden, 94, Bonaparte, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the West Point Care Center.

She was born Oct. 11, 1893, at Lone Tree. She lived for a number of years in Johnson County where she taught school. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

On May 21,1914, she was married to Howard M. Eden, who died in 1967.

Surviving are three sons, Ralph of Farmington, Fredric of Bonaparte and George of Staunton, Va.; five daughters, Helen Latta and Gertrude Swanson, both of Lone Tree, Mildred Wilson, Burlington, Vera Hemmings, Fort Madison, and Ruth Dilger, South Pasadena, Calif.; two sisters, Dorothy Noble of Washington state and Beulah Fabrik of Virginia; 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Her parents were Fred and Della Morrison.

The body is at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. James Rozendaal will officiate. Services will also at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Swank Church near Lone Tree. Burial will be in Swank Cemetery.
