Earl C. Alexander

Funeral services will be at 2:30 this afternoon at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport for Earl C. Alexander, 72, of Davenport, who died Friday, Nov. 11, at St. Luke's hospital in Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. Alexander was born Nov. 9, 1911, in Bentonsport. He had been a baker for the Peter Pan Bakery for 33 years and had been employed by the Davenport Community School District, retiring in 1977.

On July 11, 1935, at Davenport, he married Pauline Jones, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Earl C. Alexander of South Caroline and James M. Alexander of Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Bebee of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Eugene Alexander of Fort Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Ramsey and Mrs. Paul (Yvonne) Bohnenkamp, both of Fort Madison; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother. His parents were Clyde W. and Dora Bell Cross Alexander.
