Schaeffer dies at 65

Morin B. Schaeffer, 65, Monmouth, Ill., was pronounced dead on arrival at a Monmouth Hospital Saturday. He died of an apparent heart attack.

He is survived by his wife, Vaunceil Keller Schaeffer, formerly of Fairfield; three children, two stepchildren, 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth with burial in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery, Monmouth.

The couple were active in the Sunday school of the Oak Terrace Highrise, low income housing development. Memorials will go to the Sunday schools' mission projects, the Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Ky., and American Indian work at Chandler, Ariz. or the Aledo Nazarene Church.

The Schaeffers were married Nov. 30, 1968. Schaeffer retired from Gamble Skogma Company in March, 1976. Mrs. Schaeffer's address is 811 N. First, Monmouth, Ill., 61462.

Mrs. Schaeffer is a sister of Boyd Kisling, Stockport. Her first husband was Lloyd Keller, an employee of Brown Lynch Scott, Fairfield, who was killed in a accident 14 years ago.
