Harold E. Boyer

Harold E. Boyer, 76, Crown Point, Ind., died Saturday, Oct. 13, in St. Anthony Hospital, Crown Point.

Mr. Boyer was born near Farmington, Iowa, Aug. 20, 1903. He lived in Pontiac, Mich., before moving to Crown Point, where he was employed as a tool and die maker for General Motors Division until his retirement.

He married Goldie Hite, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Lt. Col. Winston Boyer, Clinton, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian O'Dor, Crown Pontiac; three brothers, Paul E. Boyer, Pontiac, Mich., Bruce Boyer, Los Altos, Calif.; and Mydrian Boyer, Los Altos, Calif.; and Mydrian Boyer, Farmington; a sister, Mrs. Reginald Hughes, Los Gatos, Calif.; and six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was a member of the Baptist church at Pontiac, and the Woodman Lodge of Farmington.

The body is at the Merriam-Little Funeral Home in Crown Point where final rites will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Albert Keller will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn cemetery at Schererville, Ind.
