Frank Bass

Frank Bass, 86, of Des Moines, died Friday, Nov. 22 at the Gracyson Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Monday in West Des Moines.

Surviving is his wie, the former Blanch Coolidge of Bonaparte; one son, Lawrence, who is an U.S. Ambassador in West Africa and two granddaughters.

Years ago Bass ran a grocery store in Bonaparte, know as the Finney & Bass Grocery.
