CECIL LAWRENCE KERR PASSED AWAY IN COLORADO

Cecil Lawrence Kerr, 49, son of George M. and Sadie Lawrence Kerr, was born October 27, 1917 in Bonaparte, and passed away June 8, 1967 at Berthoud, Colo.

His early life was spent in Bonaparte, where he received his education, except for his last year of high school when he went to Royal Oak, Mich., graduating with the class of 1935.

He lived in Alaska several years, working as a cook in lumber camps and also worked on three of the largest air bases there. After returning to the States he worked on several newspapers.

After suffering a severe illness about two years ago he had been unable to work.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, in Berthoud, Colo; two brothers and five sisters, Arlie of Loveland, Colo., William, Helen and Mrs. Leslie Hainline, all of Bonaparte, Mrs. John Ford, Douds, Mrs. Ray J. Morton, Hamilton, Ind. and Mrs. Russell Lockwood, Belleville, Mich. His parents, a sister, Mildred, and brother, Ray J. Kerr, Clawson, Mich., preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at the Berthoud Funeral Home, Berthoud, Colo., at 2 p.m. Monday, June 12. Burial was at Berthoud.
