Harry W. Townsend

FARMINGTON.- Harry W. Townsend, 90, of near Farmington died today at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital in Keokuk.

He was born July 10, 1874, west of Farmington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Townsend. He was a farmer and a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church.

Surviving is a son Wayne of Farmington. A son died in 1924. A sister and a brother also preceded him in death.

A private service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington. The Rev. Leroy Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery.
