VISITOR IN TRUEBLOOD HOME DIES LAST THURSDAY

Mrs. Georgia Lloyd, 55, of Laurens, S.C. died suddenly at 7:03 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Mrs. Lloyd had accompanied her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Kendell Oakley of Norfolk, Va., to the home of Mr. Oakley's sister and husband, the Verne Truebloods at Keosauqua for a visit. They arrived in the home about 6 p.m. Thursday, where a brother-in-law and sister of Mrs. Trueblood, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Petty of Burlington, N.C., had also arrived for a visit, earlier in the day.

Mrs. Lloyd became suddenly ill at the dinner table and was taken immediately to the hospital where she died upon arrival. She had a throat condition but had undergone surgery about a year ago.

The body was removed to the Catcott Funeral Home and taken to Bloomington, Ill. Friday night to be transported by plane to Laurens, S.C.

She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Oakley and two sisters and four brothers and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Oakley and Mr. and Mrs. Petty returned home on Friday morning.
