Frank Plowman

Frank Plowman, 78, died Thursday, June 8 at 8:30 p.m. at his home in Milton. He had a heart condition several years.

He was born April 20, 1883 the son of Thomas and Anna Mary Plowman. He was a member of the Methodist Church and had spent most of his life on a farm two miles south of Douds, retiring and moving to Milton five years ago.

On May 31, 1919, he was married to Orpha Barker, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. C.W. Claflin of Douds and a brother, Harley Plowman of Milton, also two nephews and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lano Ethel, who died in infancy and Mrs. Maggie Mathias, and by two brothers, Luther and Emory.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 11 at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. Rev. Lowell E. Hoyle of the Douds Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Leando cemetery.
