Otis F. Thompson

Otis F. Thompson, 80, died Sunday evening at Kirk Nursing Home at Agency after a long illness.

He was born May 28, 1881, near Collett in Jefferson County, the son of Harvey and Hester Rodibaugh Thompson. He was married to Agnes Briggs who died April 24, 1948. He was a retire farmer.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lillie Bonnett of Birmingham, and four nephews. A son Roy, a brother and seven sisters preceded him in death.

The service was held Tuesday, June 13 at 3 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. Kenneth Honius of the Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery, Birmingham.
