Edward Pyle

Edward H. Pyle, 84, Farmington, died Thursday, Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. in Keosauqua.

He had been in failing health for some time.

Services were held Saturday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. in Miller's Home for Funerals at Farmington. The Rev. Leroy Moore officiated. Burial was in Farmington cemetery.

He was born July 15, 1879, in Centerville, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Bowers Pyle. He was engaged in farming and grew up near Farmington. He moved to Wessington, S.D., where he lived for 40 years, then moved back to Farmington in 1958.

He was never married.

Survivors include two cousins, Mrs. W.F. Griffin, Fairfield; and John Bowers, Ft. Madison. A sister preceded him in death.
