MARJORIE HOOPER KLOS

Marjorie Hooper Klos, born in Bonaparte, Iowa, May 6, 1907, passed away in Newton, Iowa on May 29, 1967. She had been an invalid the past few years suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.

She leaves one brother, Stanley of Burbank, Calif.; one sister, Phyllis of San Francisco, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John S. and Emma Guthrie Hooper, a brother, Ransom, all former Bonaparte residents, and her husband, Rinhart Klos of Newton.

She was laid to rest in the Newton Union Cemetery on May 31, 1967.

MARJORIE KLOS

Mrs. Reinhart (Marjorie May) Klos, 58, of 221 W. Third St., a resident of Newton since 1924, died at 6:40 p.m. Monday, June 5 at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Klos, who had been ill for many years, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8 at the Morgan-Loehr Funeral Home.

The Rev. Ray Barnett, minister of the First Christian Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery.

Survivors are a brother, Stanley Hooper of Burbank, Calif., and a sister, Phyllis Hooper of San Francisco, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles; and her husband, Reinhart.

The daughter of John and Emma Guthrie Hooper, she was born May 6, 1909 at Bonaparte, and was educated in Newton schools.

She was married to Reinhart Klos at Centerville in 1932.
