MRS. MARY ANN KIMPLING

Mrs. Mary Ann Kimpling, 72, who lived at 110 S. High St., Washington, before moving to the Washington Nursing Center some year s ago, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 in Proctor Hospital. She had been a patient there since Dec. 27.

She was born July 28, 1894, in Keosauqua, Iowa, the daughter of James and Martha Neil Blair and was married to Henry Harry Kimpling Nov. 3, 1920 at Fort Madison, Iowa. He died March 15, 1963.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Zimmerman and Mrs. Virginia Torrance, both of Washington; four brothers, Ernest Blair of Salem, Ross Blair of Keosauqua, John Blair of West Liberty, Alva Blair of Washington; and eight grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kimpling was a member of Washington Methodist Church and Washington Chapter 115, Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 in White Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Peterson officiating. Burial was in Glen Dale Cemetery.
