CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR HUFF

Raymond Maurice Huff, 100, of Fairfield, died peacefully on February 9, 2017, at the Jefferson County Health Center after a short period of declining health. He was born on January 25, 1917, in Harrisburg Township in Van Buren County, to Harry and Orabelle Pettit Huff. He married Mary Reva Williams on August 16, 1941, and moved to the Fairfield area in 1945. She died in 1991. Maurice married Glenna Stecker of Hillsboro in 1996, and they moved to Keosauqua where he resided until 2011.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 24, 10:00 a.m. at Zion Bible Church, Highway 16, Douds, with Pastor Mike
Mosier officiating. Following the service, at 11:30 a.m., there will be visitation and luncheon at the First United Methodist Church at 201 North Court Street in Fairfield. Family and friends are welcome.

In addition to his first wife Reva, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard, and a sister, Marjorie. He leaves behind his wife Glenna, four sons, Philip Huff, now deceased, (Nan) of Fairfield, Daniel Huff (Ann) of Chapel Hill, NC, Jonathan Huff (Patti Balderson) of Fairfield, David Huff (Karen) of San Francisco, CA, nine grandchildren and their spouses, and 12 great-grandchildren.
