DIED: - In Keosauqua, Iowa, of lung disease, Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1883, B.F. Pearson, aged 68 years, 7 months and 22 days.

Mr. Pearson was born in Maryland April 20, 1815 and came to Iowa in 1837, locating at Keosauqua, where he has since resided. He was a good citizen, kind husband and father and widely known in Van Buren county. For many years previous to his death he was an active member of the M.E. church. He leaves behind him a wife and several children, all grown. His funeral will take place to-day, services to be held in the M.E. church at 2 P.M. and his body will be laid away in the honors of Odd Fellowship assisted by members of the G.A.R. he being a member of both orders.
