Rex McComb

Rex McComb of 621 Palean St., Keokuk, died Tuesday morning, March 15, after an extended illness.

He was the son of Hugh and Libby Spear McComb and was born in Bonaparte Jan. 31, 1877. He had been a resident of Keokuk for the last 30 years. He was a painter by trade. He was married Dec. 11, 1898 to Amanda Corr in Farmington. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Stanley K. McComb of Keokuk and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Doud of Los Angeles, Calif. Two children preceded him in death.

Woodmen held services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Greaves mortuary in Keokuk and funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the mortuary. Burial was in Oakland cemetery at Keokuk.
