Dora Havner, 95, dies in Arizona

BIRMINGHAM - Dora Havner, 95, former resident of the Birmingham and Fairfield Communities, died Friday in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

The casket is being shipped to Birmingham where graveside services will be held Wednesday in Maple Hill Cemetery with the Burch Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The Rev. David Kennedy will officiate.

Dora Havner was born April 30, 1888, the daughter of David and Rachel Goodwin. She was married to Clarence Havner who died Jan. 4, 1956.

Mrs. Havner is survived by two daughters, Lois Emanuel and Mabel Grovers, both of Sierra Vista; five grandchildren and a brother, W.E. "Friday" Goodwin, Fairfield.
