Marilyn Louise Estes, age 84, of Fairfield passed away March 12, 2017, at Sunnybrook Living Care Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 16, 2017, prior to the service at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 16, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home, with Words of comfort by Marsha Laux. Burial of cremains will be at Rock Creek Cemetery.

Marilyn Louise was born August 13, 1932, to Seth Wesley and Regetta (Smithhart) Hart. She married Frankie “Ray” Estes on April 23, 1954, in Kahoka, MO. He died April 8, 2010.

Marilyn graduated from Richland High School and lived most of her adult life in Burlington, IA. She was a member of Eastern Star, Ollie, IA. Her hobbies and interests were reading, gardening, nurturing flowers, and collecting antiques. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Marilyn is survived by, her sister, Mary Lou Laux of Fairfield, IA, sisters-in-law, Pat (Don) Chambers of Ollie, IA, and Betty Emmack of Wheat Ridge, CO, and many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
