There is considerable sickness in these parts at present. Mrs. Peter Carr died Dec. 30, and was buried the 31st; Uriah Campbell, one of Lee county's enterprising farmers, is very low; Miss Dora Armstrong and Ezra Robinson, living on the Ridge north-east of town, are both sick with typhoid fever.
