Will of Alvira Van Fleet, 1897

In the name of the Benevolent Father of us all, I, Alvira Van Fleet, aged 57 years and being of sound mind and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking any and all others heretofore made by me.

1st. I desire all my just debts and funeral expenses paid.

2d. All the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal I give and bequeath to my three youngest children to-wit: Jerry C. Van Fleet, Clarence A. Van Fleet and Ervey R. Van Fleet, the same to be divided equally between them.

3d. I hereby nominate and appoint Jerry C. Van Fleet as executor of this my last Will and Testament, and I request that he be not required to give bond as I am satisfied that he will faithfully carry out my wishes in the promises and account for everything without being obligated by a bond.

The within and foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Alvira Van Fleet was on this date August 20, 1897, signed by her in our presence and we at her request, in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereto signed our names as witnesses this 20th day of August, 1897.
