Joseph Donner Leasman 55, died at Veterans hospital in Des Moines Wednesday morning, February 15. He had been hospitalized several weeks. He had been in failing health for the past five years. Born at Lorimor, Sept. 7, 1905, he spent his entire life at the family home. He never married and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mabel Leasman, a sister, Mrs. Thelma Hills of Des Moines, two brothers John at home and Richard of Mitchellville.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, February 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts-Soll Funeral home, with Rev. Don Frank officiating. Burial was made at Lorimor cemetery.
