George R. Derauf
Dies Today at 69

George R. Derauf, 69, lifetime resident of Creston, died at Clarinda at 7:30 a.m. today. He had been ill for many years.

Funeral services will be held at the Deitrick and Keating chapel here at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

He was born in Creston, the son of John and Elizabeth Berger Derauf. During his liifetime he was a gardener here. He was single.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Charles Wirth of Creston, and three brothers, John w. Derauf of Creston, Dr. Ben Derauf of St. Paul, Minn., and C. S. Derauf of Des Moines.

Mr. Derauf was a member of the Methodist church.
