Ill While on Vacation

CARROLLTON - Sullivan Crane of St. Louis is seriously ill in a hospital in Harrison, Ark., as the result of a heart attack which he suffered Wednesday upon arrival in Lead Hill, Ark., to spend a vacation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Griffith. Sullivan had been accompanied to Lead Hill by his wife and son and his wife’s sister, Mrs. James Short, of this city. Mrs. Short and her nephew returned home Sunday, but Mrs. Crane remained in Harrison with her husband.

CARROLLTON - The body of Edward Sullivan Crane, 51, of Berkeley, Mo., will be brought to Carrollton for services Friday at 1 p.m. in Mel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Stith Cemetery, west of Carrollton. The body will be at White Funeral Home, Ferguson, Mo. prior to moving it to Carrollton. Rites at Ferguson will be conducted at 8 p.m. today.

Friends may call at the Carrollton funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Surviving Mr. Crane are his wife, the former Myrtle Darr of Carrollton; a son, James, of Berkeley, and a brother, Eugene, of Creston, Iowa.
