We learn that on the 15 last. Mr. Wm. Scherer, of Sand Creek Twp., and Mrs Catharina Ditzler, of Des Moines, where united in marrriage. Rev. Evans, of Afton, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Scherer are too well and favorably known to the prople of Afton and vicinity to need an introduction. Their many friends join in wishing them domestic peace and prosperty.
