Nita V. Champlin, 65, a resident of Cedar Rapids for 46 years, died Friday at a Marion care center.
She was born July 28, 1892, at Tama. On Feb. 23, 1942, she was married to Claude H. Champlin.
Surviving are a son, H. Darrell Shanklin, Marion; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Tama. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Tama. Friends may call at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion after 11 a.m. Sunday, and at Harrison's after noon Monday.
