MRS. ANNA K. SORENSON PASSED AWAY THURSDAY

Mrs. Anna K. Sorenson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. M. Abrahamson, last Thursday afternoon. She had been sick for almost a year and she had held out wonderfully well considering her naturally frail constitution. She was one day over 81 years old.

The funeral services were held in Grace church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Wendel officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in the Center cemetery.

Mrs. Sorenson was a most loveable old lady will be greatly missed not only by her children and grandchildren but by a host of friends in a wide circle.

Obituary

Miss Anna K. Davidson was born in Fleming, Pr Horsens, Denmark, April 12, 1835, and passed away April 13, 1916, age 81 years, 1 day. She was married to Andrew Sorenson about 1859. About 1874 they came to America and settled near Story City, where they lived most of their life.

To them were born ten children, three having preceded her to the better land, her husband also having passed away about 20 years ago. Since the death of her husband, she has been living with her children and friends.

Seven children remain to mourn her death, namely, Mrs. Anna M. Peterson, Kimballton, Ia.; Mrs. Carrie Dinsmore, Divide, Wyo.; Mrs. Mary Dvoracek, Ames; Mrs. Hannah Abrahamsen, David Anderson, Martin Anderson all of Story City; Mr. John Anderson, Houston, Tex., also thirty-five grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

The relatives of the deceased hereby wish to thank the friends and neighbors for the many beautiful flowers and kind words given mother while in her living sickness. The funeral services were held from the Grace Evangelical church Sunday P. M., April 10. Interment took place in Center cemetery.
