MRS. AMENSON BURIED MONDAY

Young Mother Passed Away New Year Day from Heart Failure. Leaves a Host of Relatives to Mourn Her Death.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. E. C. Amenson of near Randall were held Monday, January 7 at the Elim Lutheran church at Randall, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud conducting, after a short service at their home. The remains were laid to rest in the Randall cemetery.

Ruth Teigland was born March 28, 1900 and died January 1, 1924 being at the age of 23 years, 9 months and 29 days at the time of her death. The immediate cause of death was heart failure. A child was born just a few hours before her death and who also passed away the day following birth.

Mrs. Elmer Amenson is the youngest daughter of M. M. Teigland of Randall. She was united in marriage to Elmer C. Amenson on September 4, 1918 by Rev. G. O. Paulsrud. Mr. and Mrs. Amenson lived near Dennison, Minn. a few years until a year ago last fall when they moved here and lived north of town til last spring when they moved onto the M. M. Teigland farm about three miles west of Randall.

Besides her husband she leaves two children, Alice and Judith, also her father, M. M. Teigland and five sisters and four brothers who are: Mrs. P. J. Oakland, Rake, Iowa; Mrs. Jas. Quam, Elmore, Minn.; Mrs. J. N. Okland, Jewell; Mrs. Harvey Bob, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. John Borwick, Radcliffe; Martin, Eagle Grove; Lucas, Faribault, Minn.; Soren M., Randall; and George C. who is making his home with his sister, Mrs. John Borwick. Her mother passed away a year ago second day Christmas very suddenly from a stroke.
