JUNITA SCOTT PASSES.

Many Interesting News Notes From Cambridge.

Special to the Journal
Cambridge, Feb. 1--Junita Scott the three and one half year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Scott passed away Friday night at the Methodist hospital Des Moines following a short but severe illness with complications of appendicitis, peritonitis and pneumonia. Sunday at 2:30 there gathered a concourse of sorrowing relatives and sympathizing friends that taxed the capacity of the Christian church at Maxwell. The services were in charge of the regular pastor of the church Rev. Waukin assisted by Rev. Gaun a former minister using the text "Suffer little children to come with me." Junita was an adorable child and the news of her sudden demise cast a gloom over the community. Besides her father and mother she leaves one sister, Elizabeth, two grandmothers, one great grandmother, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins in both the Scott and Lee families* who will sorely miss the loving and cheerful companionship of little Junita. Mrs. Scott was a former Cambridge girl and was reared to womanhood and lived in this vicinity until her marriage. Her mother, brothers and many other relatives are still residents here and receive the sympathy of all in their bereavement. The remains were laid to rest in the Maxwell cemetery.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Juanita Gaye Scott was the daughter of Glen Merlin Scott and Ida Gertrude Lee.
