MARY ADAMS

Mary Rachel Adams, 78, of Maxwell, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1982 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines.

She was born Louis and Jennie Kitchen. On March 31, 1928, she married Charlie Adams.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Charlie; two sons, Jerry of Elkhart and Gerald of Maxwell; a daughter, Ileva Elder of Berthoud, Col.; two sisters Beulah Johnson and Alice Beard of Nevada; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at the Cooper Funeral Home, Maxwell; with Re. Joe Howe officiating. Burial will follow at the Iowa Center Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Cooper Funeral Home, Maxwell, until time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
